Perrelet joins the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie

The list of companies to swell the ranks of partners to the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) continues to grow. After Chopard, Tag Heuer and Antoine Preziuso, Perrelet joins the circle of brands wishing to defend the values of technical and precious Fine Watches, through the Foundation and its activities.

For any adept of the history of time measurement, the name Abraham-Louis Perrelet invariably calls to mind the pioneering watchmaker to whom we attribute the invention, in the 1770s, of the self-winding watch with central oscillating weight. His grandson, Louis-Frédéric Perrelet, also left his mark for having patented the first splitseconds chronograph. Today, the Perrelet company perpetuates this illustrious past of artistry, craftsmanship and technical prowess with exclusively mechanical selfwinding watches, such as the Skeleton Chronograph, created last year to commemorate the brand's 230th anniversary, or the Retrograde Hour with regulator and date hand. Perrelet's watches, certain of which are fitted with exclusive movements, add to the prestige of Fine Watchmaking with models that are eminently true to the company's history and identity.

With this new addition to its existing partners, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie confirms its position and its vocation to defend the values that are unique to an industry that is built on tradition, expertise and innovation.

The Foundation's partners are A.Lange & Söhne, Antoine Preziuso, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Corum, Daniel Roth, Gérald Genta, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, JeanRichard, Montblanc, Panerai, Perrelet, Parmigiani, Piaget, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Tag Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
