This exceptional collection dedicated to the wonders of travel boasts the precious assets that only complex mechanics can offer. Designed and produced exclusively by Parmigiani, the Tonda Hémisphères (Calibre PF 337 automatic) is one of the very few watches to offer a simple-to-use complete second time zone with hours and minutes. The 2nd time zone can thus be set to the precise minute. A considerable number of destinations with half-hour or three-quarter hour (*) time differences from GMT are now completely synchronised with the local time.

 

To enable travellers to change the local time or destination time at any moment, the two time displays (hour and minute hands) can be set completely independently of one other. Two crowns are fitted for this purpose on the right of the case, one for setting the time zone, and the other for winding the movement, correcting the date and local time. 

 

Because the time zone may cause a night/day offset, the Tonda Hémisphères features a day/night indicator associated with the time zone, and a day/night indicator linked directly to the local time.
