In addition to the subtle contrasts provided by the softly curving steel cases and the applied gold-plated hands and hour-markers on both models, each features its own distinctive character expressed through specific useful functions. The GMT version displays the second time-zone indication in a silvered subdial with black hour-markers at 6 o’clock, surrounding a refined “Clous de Paris” central zone; while the Day, Retrograde Date and Power Reserve interpretation plays with three different shapes for its respective displays – arranged in such a way that they appear to be half-smiling, half-winking at the lucky lady wearing this elegantly informative timepiece.
