It is nothing but an international star-studded collaboration: Switzerland's prestigious Luxury watch-maker and jeweller, the most-awarded actress and glamour icon from China, and one of the most renowned Fashion photographers from France. Stars for all seasons, Piaget, Maggie Cheung and Patrick Demarchelier gather in one constellation for a series of photos that celebrate Ms Cheung's appointment as Piaget's Brand International Ambassador.

Demarchelier was specifically commissioned to capture Maggie's inner radiance while adorned with Piaget's dazzling collections, in no less than the City of Lights itself, Paris. Each photograph in the series conveys the sublime grace that can only happen when the right woman, the right jewels and the right lensman come together at the precisely right moment.

Patrick Demarchelier was the first non-British invited to photograph a member of the British Royal family. His portrays of Diana are the most glamorous pictures ever made from the Princess of Wales. He has been responsible for major advertising campaigns for many international brands and numerous covers for the most prestigious fashion magazines, among them include Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. His name was also repeatedly mentioned in the hit film The Devil Wears Prada, a surefire indication of his exalted status in the fashion world. Throughout his career, Patrick Demarchelier has photographed many celebrities including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, David Bowie, Paul Newman, Christy Turlington and Elizabeth Hurley.

This set of photos was released at the Press Conference to be held on March 26th 2008 in Beijing, in which the appointment of Maggie Cheung as the Brand International Ambassador was officially announced. Philippe Léopold-Metzger, CEO of Piaget International, and Maggie Cheung, were present to celebrate this special occasion.
